Weird things you have discovered about yourself

I have a loose filling that shares a resonant frequency with my speaking voice. It feels weird. Plus when I exert myself in cold weather my lower gums hurt.

If I flex my pelvic floor muscles for 30 seconds and concentrate, I can have an orgasm. A pretty good one, too! Always entertaining on long car rides.

I get them, and then vomit.

Drinking root beer gives me the hiccups. If I get hiccups 3 or more times in one day I will throw up. My hiccups are really loud and annoying. I can no longer drink root beer.

I lose my voice for about an hour after eating them. So obviously I don't eat them!

My tongue is really sensitive to certain acidic foods; vinegar, ketchup, pineapple.
It literally hurts my tongue.
My kids have it too, I think it has something to do with a vitamin deficiency (like b12 or b6).

This:
Diet soda (even one a day) makes me have really bad PMS symptoms (across the board). Regular soda does not...

Totally.

I have an EXTREME aversion to potatoes. I can stand chips or slim cut fries. But if I eat a mashed/baked potato I will instantly vomit. My mom said this even happened when I was little. Now my DS seems to have it too!

Starbucks gives me bubble guts if I drink it on an empty stomach. Only Starbucks, no other coffee. I assume because it's so strong, but even lattes do it.

The pediatrician told me she suspected my son had Asperger's, so of course, I went home and researched the heck out of it on Google. Darned if I didn't tick 90% of the boxes myself, right down to compulsive finger tapping and aversion to bathing.

I get "ice pick" headaches and they were officially diagnosed as migraines. The ice pick feels like it is stabbing into my upper inner eye close to my nose, and also I have a sharp pain on the same side of my head in the back near where the back of my skull joins the neck. Sometimes these can last a day or two. It comes with light and noise sensitivity to one degree or another and sometimes, but not always, nausea. Once diagnosed I took a prescription med for awhile, but now I find that I can generally control them with Excedrin Migraine formula.

The "ice pick" description, hemispheric pain (meaning only one side of the head), light/sound sensitivity, and nausea are all typical migraine symptoms, so if this describes you, it might be worth a visit to the doctor.

I get "ice pick" headaches while flying, but only upon landing. I guess something about the sudden drop in elevation? I dread flying.
