Graduation season is so tough

You have a child who is attending college. Who presumably you won't have to care for until your death, worrying constantly about who will care for them when you die.

But sure, he had less parties than other kids. I guess that's sad.

You are in pain, but is he? Attending a typical graduation party would be hell on earth for my kid. Hanging out with his one friend is all he wants. We took them out to dinner and left them to hang after.
