Cannoli has to be eaten right away. If it comes filled it will be soggy and disappointing.

Prantal's Almond Tort - buy it on Goldbelly. You won't be disappointed.

La madeleine coconut cream cake

Costco has a pistachio cheesecake. Sadly I am the only one who likes pistachios. It’s impossible to finish a Costco sized cheesecake without have a lot of people to eat it.

How’s Gerard’s in Oxen Hill these days?
I heard he was aiming to retire?

Op here, I actually looked for this and it doesn’t seem my local costco has this yet. Luckily we do have a few people in the family that like pistachios. That being said, i’ve been known to freeze individual slices of cake/pie.

Ahh I should have mentioned I also don’t really like coconut. I don’t hate it, but wouldn’t want it in a cake. La madeleine used to have a crème brulee cheesecake that was one of the best desserts I have ever had though.

You are not the only person who likes pistachios. If you post your address here I will come help you eat it. It will be a community service!

Bread and Chocolate has a nice chocolate raspberry cake.

I also really like the caramel cake from Caroline's cakes, and the Chantilly cake with strawberries from Whole Foods.

Meh.

Clearly OP wants something better than a grocery store cake.

Wegman's is pretty divine though. It has to be said.

OP, can you order a wedding cake in the flavors you want?
