| just an educated guess but i presume they start offers with the top teams and work there way down the list until they get the fill all the teams. If offers get declined then kids move up the list/ different team.... i would assume the lower teams would find out last |
David Camara is excellent w younger kids. They are lucky to have him IMO. |
Its a rolling offer for all teams, with sure thing offers going to the targeted best kids at each level. But yes, after a player denies an offer, the slot will then be offered to the next player on the merit list. |
My kid is neither 9 nor at ASA, but I can definitively tell you the “all offers go out” trope has been definitively proven wrong this tryout season at ulittles age, both ASA and others. Take a breath, sorting 100 some odd low experienced girls is its own kind of hellscape. |
Trust me, you don’t want to be on team #9. |
| it seems like they would already be through all of the waitlist offers since they give a short deadline to accept or decline and invites started going out on Monday |
You have 3days to respond to an offer so it could take a while... |
| assuming my kiddo didn’t make a team (assuming she didn’t) is it too late for adp? |
| ADP tryouts haven’t happened yet— looks like they are May 17th. |
| We just declined a boys spot on Ajax for my almost 7 year old so spots may still open. |
| can people see their team roster already or that's at a later point when team snap is set up? |
Arlington is using Playmetrics now and you can see the roster on it. I can see my sons 10 players on U9 team |
That's a small team. Are all Arlington teams have small rosters? |
| It’s 7v7 at that age with no dedicated goalie, so it allows for somewhere around 35 minutes of field time for everyone it in goal and assuming anyone in goal plays less in the field the half they are there. |
That's normal and perfect for 7v7. Lots of playing time for every one. 9 kids is even better when they are young. |
