For what level?

Definitely not a top team, maybe mid level?

I wonder if u8 offers went out..

FWIW I have heard from two families today about U8G so some invites have gone out.

Do they send out notices to kids who definitely aren’t making it? If there are 7 teams each how many make a team? Seems like a lot just won’t get an offer.

There are max 12 kids per team in our experience. So, about 84 of the ~140 the OP posted.

How many games and practices a week are we talking for the U9s? My daughter received an offer!

Depends what team she was placed on. Top teams practice more. Lower teams practice 3x per week; 1-2 games per weekend.

What are the “top teams”? The top 2?

for boys side u9 coaches are below, top 2 teams Arsenal and Man City and then so on down to the u8 Ajax and Ajaxx
U9 Coaching Lineup:

Arsenal – Man City | Carlos Dubose

Real Madrid – Barca | Sergio Enriquez

Bayern – Liverpool | Daniel Obour

Ajax & Ajaxx | David Camara / Tony Damiani

For that age group they all have 2 practices a week and some skills (not every week around 5 to 8 total in each season) The top team for u9 may play in an extra tournament compared to the others but that is about it. Most teams will play around 9/10 games plus a tournament in the fall and 9/10 games and and 1 or 2 tournaments in the spring. 1 of the tournaments is the Arlington tournament which is late Feb or early March. Regular season games will usually start week after labor day and end around mid Nov in Fall and in April to early June in spring.

Are any of these coaches good? Not interested in necessarily the highest level team, but would love a great coach who works well with young kids.

Is there any reason they would be holding any offers? If they send out all of these offers, how do they fill the teams if there are any declines on the top team? Is there a possibility to be holding an back up offer for a top team and will give them a later offer once those teams are set?

Any chance they add more teams???

No. There is a finite amount of field space for practices.
