So true! At first I was concerned that my kid's school was nearly nonexistent in the threads and then I spent a little time on here and realized that was a very green flag 🤣

"Just hoping to find a school where kids can be kids and grow up relatively happy. Hopefully give my kids the tools to weather the inevitable storms in life." -- check out The Village School in Arlington. Not sure if they have space, but the kids are happy and they focus on preparing for real life and not just the next grade.

Not disagreeing with the school quality, but the commute from Bethesda to Arlington is an absolute bear! Especially if you have to turn around and come back or re-enter the city... OP's kid may be happy, but they won't be...
