NVU announced that their second teams will play in NAL. That seems to be where all of the clubs that have MLSN2 are putting the team below that. So I don’t see how NVU needs GFR for league placement anymore.

Concerned? Why would anyone be "concerned'? Its odd, for sure. I have never heard of a club with RL status not being able to field their own boys' team and having to borrow a team from elsewhere.

You haven’t heard of it. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen?

Well, tell us all about it then. What teams? What ages? You brought it up...

We would consider the club if we were guaranteed practice in the GMU area. Having three fields so far apart from each other is really impractical for most. No one wants to risk having to schlep that far at rush hour for non-elite team practices.

My son got an offer for MLS Next AD and it seems Coach is going to be Rollan Appiah. Any thoughts?

No personal experience, but heard good things from someone whose kid used to play at a club where he coached.

Can I ask, what level is your son playing at now? Curious about the level of player getting offers there if you don’t mind…
