Encourage me to sit down and eat outside at restaurants

I sort of agree with them — unless it’s really prized waterfront real estate. Outside in an urban area or in a suburb with views of the parking lot is a total scam.

Sitting in the parking lot is fresh air?

It's not fresh air, it's a parking lot full of car emissions! You must be one of the people at school pick up who sits there with their engine on idling for 20 minutes.

I'm not sitting in parking lots. Patios and parking lots are not the same.

You must be one of those people who cannot think in grayscale.

No, no. I cannot do that. Dust, pollen, car exhaust, flies, bird shit...I don't want to sit outside unless it is a very green and pristine place. I cannot eat outside next to a road. A beautiful courtyard or patio - sure.
