Sorry, that was supposed to say “Top 5 undeclared major”. He is focusing on Econ but doesn’t want to do finance or PE.

T-whatever? Major?

T-15, undecided STEM

Are they not interested in paid research roles on campus? I would think a T15 would offer plenty of these opportunities.

They are interested, that process is not finished yet, so there is a chance it will happen. But there is very high demand, so can't count on it happening.

I’m going to let him.

Yep. Same here. He's going to hang out with friends, make money in a regular summer job, travel.
He has his lifetime to grind.
Freshman at an Ivy.

Neat! Was this his first choice?

Yes. He worked in a summer camp and at a country club pool in HS and he wanted something different.

Congrats to your kid! Would you be willing to share their home university’s T-range?

Sorry, I don’t know what a T range is 😂 She’s a freshman at a WASP school is that helps?

Yep, thanks! Where will she be doing her REU?

+1 Mine has always wanted to be a counselor at the camp he spent many summers at, he got the job and really views it as a wonderful last summer spent in nature.
