Changing wedding rings from platinum to gold?

I steer clear of anything with a yellow tone - yellow, orange, tomato red, beige. A deep blue/red is good though. Hard to find that shade. And definitely no gold jewelry.

Well it's about your undertone, so clothing color and jewelry color are a part of that. Cool tones look better in silver, warm tones look better in gold. Neutral can do either. I changed from platinum to gold last year too, and it was more about the Halo that I wanted to get rid of, it made the engagement ring feel gaudy and very heavy. I wanted something simpler in style, kept the main diamond only.

Go see Pete at Quest.

Pete retired at least a year ago or more! But Huan is still there...

How much metal are you people draping yourself in that it makes you look "sallow"?

Maybe just buy a new set?

I would simply reset the diamond, sell the setting. Trust me, your kids are not really going to want your ring. Tastes change (as you are experiencing).

Ha, tell my DD that! She's been drooling over my rings for years and asked if she could have them when she gets married.
