I Rejected a Finalist Because of Tattoos

Agree, OP.

I was on another thread recently where lawyers were discussing whether lawyers and judges and juries care about tattoos. All these lawyers were saying, no, it's fine. I and some others disagreed. I think many people over fifty, and some over 45, can be judgmental about tattoos.

4 month hiring process? Yikes. That's a big red flag.

55 year old lawyer here. I have a tattoo. And I think OP is stupid. Or just a troll posting something stupid to rile people up in response to stupidity.

Pete Davidson spent $200,000 to remove his tatoos.

I'm under 45 and hate them!

I really don’t like tattoos but this is actually illegal discrimination in DC.

Do people actually think 5 weeks vacation is something out of this world? I don’t make nearly as much money but in a diff country and we get 6 weeks.

Also you’re bad at your job if you did this, so I hope it’s fake.

I'm not a huge fan of tattoos but I think this story is fake as most people don't have tattoos that are visible in the winter as wouldn't you be wearing long sleeves?

I think they can be beautiful and interesting on the right person.

I know quite a few lawyers who have tattoos, but the rule is you generally cover them in thoae contexts. As long as they aren't on your face, neck, or hands, they can be covered pretty easily.

But this is why I think this is BS, I didn't know about my colleagues' tattoos until casual days at work. Interview clothes cover those areas. No man is wearing a short sleeved shirt to a professional interview in February. It would be more believable if they cast a woman in the role.

I am judging too. Get your tattoos on your hip or some other nether region and show them off on the beach.

Jews with tattoos can’t go to Heaven by the way. Plus side, I won’t see Adam Levine in the afterlife

I get it, He would be representing your brand and religion.

Did you interview for a stripper job? Where were the tattoos that you saw that much after the candidate removed the coat?
Anonymous
They are better than the 18 you interviewed. They'll be fine. They came in just to show the tattoos and get free lunch.
