Help me plan this NYC trip! Is this even reasonable?

that's more than enough time. If coming from somewhere on Amtrak, take the train. the airport is too far out of the city. I would see about a show or another spot as a back up. Highland/Hudson yards/Times Square can take a lot of time or very little time depending on what you want to do/how crowded it is/if the weather is bad. Since going to the 9/11 museum, you could also walk through battery park and see the Statue of Liberty.

Who the hell would fly 200 miles? I mean I always drive because I’m from the area. But take the train instead if you want.

You have three lunches/dinners. I would make them one pizza, one ethic food you don’t often eat, and one at a trendy/tik tok famous type food place. And I would get a bagel for Saturday breakfast.

If the weather is nice, Brooklyn Bridge park is a nice place to hang out. Can ride bikes or just walk. For an amazing view check out the 1 Hotel there - drinks and food are overpriced yes but the views are unbeatable. I usually go for a drink or two then eat elsewhere.

- Take the NYC Ferry somewhere (can actually take from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge park) But there are lots of pick up/drop off points throughout the city. This is a must.

- Governors island always nice in the summer

- Circle line boat tour. I live in NY and did this with some family visiting and actually really enjoyed it. Learned a lot of interesting things I never knew about the city. And the city just looks stunning from the water

- Visit Eataly or for another food hall experience - Time out market in DUMBO

- I heard The Edge is cool but never been

Former New Yorker here (RIP) - shhhhhhhhhhh why are you sharing this?!

One half is Mission Impossible type active games. Each group enters the various rooms and plays as a team.

The other half is interactive displays to determine what type of spy you would be.

I wouldn't take a teenager who wants to shop to the spy museum. It's fun, but better for younger kids and groups.

That secret is out. There will be lines at both.

Do a tenement museum tour, walk around park slope or Williamsburg. See a broadway show- Outisiders, operation mincemeat or Ragtime. Consider getting dim sum in Chinatown (get there early) if you aren’t from another city with a good Chinatown.

Eww. Why? It’s gotten gross and there’s nothing to do there.

I would stay at a hotel on the west side, maybe around the Hudson Yards or the Highline Hotel, anything close to them. Walking the Highline is fun at night.

I would recommend staying away from any Brandi Melville store. Watch the
Brandi Hellville” documentary and you’ll know why.

Examples of the CEOs messages ..

Brandy Melville CEO Stephan Marsan was involved in a group chat with top company executives titled "Brandy Melville gags" where they routinely exchanged racist, antisemitic, and pro-Nazi messages. antisemitic, and pornographic memes, including images of Hitler and imagery mocking Black people.

Some of Marsan’s favorite jokes …

An image of Hitler with the caption "Premio Nobel per la brace" (Nobel Prize for barbecue).

An edited image of an emaciated woman wearing a sash that read "Miss Auschwitz 1943"
.
A picture of Hitler with the text "Happy New Year My N@gga”.

This is just part of his sickness. No self respecting young teen or woman should shop there once they know the facts.

You’ll find much better quality clothing in NYC. It’s disturbing that he hasn’t lost customers.
