I'm 44 and just want to watch and listen to unrefined things. Anyone else?

1000% this! My tastes differ from OP’s but more power to her! I often think of the title of an old country song “My give-a-d@mn’s busted!”

+1000! At our age, who cares. Do what makes you happy.

Metoo. for some reason I cannot stand them the rest of the year, but about a week before Thanksgiving until New Years, I enjoy them.

This is an interesting topic that I’ve been trying to sort out whether it’s age, the times, both, or something else.

I’ve always liked mysteries and I’ve found myself trending towards British ones. Very little car chases or shoot-outs and more twisty plotlines. And I like things wrapped up in a nice bow at the end of the season.

Me. 90 Day Fiancé is life. I just wish they would do away with the constant repeat of the has been cast, and instead of wasting money filling pillow talk they make another new show with new cast.

Yes. I am currently watching Love is Blind, Argentina. I am late but just discovered Role Model and am loving his fun Sally song. Am reading a murder mystery set in England.

The important news gets through - I don't need to seek it out. No need to know the details of the mass shooting in Canada that happened yesterday.

House hunters is fake though.

All I want to do is watch TLC. I could talk to you about 90 day fiancé and the spin offs all day.

DH watches tv in a different room now, we are both okay with this.

"I could talk to you about 90 day fiancé and the spin offs all day." let's go!

I'm a research scientist and Project Runway keeps me calm and sane! Bring on the fluff shows/books!

Lawyer, kids with challenges, my brain and emotional capacity are perpetually exhausted. I watch almost exclusively kdrama. Made an exception for Heated Rivalry. Not too good for reality tv, but it bores me somehow. So I watch a different variety of fluff.
