Where have all the deer gone?

If not a carcass then I’d often see them at the side of the road or running out in front of me. I guess I’m just unsure. Do they hibernate when it gets this cold, or just stay in the woods?

Bang! Bang bang!

We need a 90+% reduction in the deer population. They are overgrazing our forests and enabling invasive plants to take over.

No, we need a 90+% reduction in the human population.

Human birth rates for all industrial countries are plummeting. SO you may get your wish.

They are indigenous animals. We are invasive.

Go move somewhere else then. In our current society they are doing a ton of harm. They also don't have the natural predators thanks to our invasiveness and have been allowed to grow out of control. You have to pick one or the other right now and I'm picking humans over deer.

I am picking deer over "correct" plants woke people are using my tax dollars to plant. After defoliating the areas with chemicals and waiting until it's plantable.

Hunters?

WTF? No one hunts deer in the close-in suburbs around here!

Hunting season ended TWO MONTHS ago in the places where deer are hunted.

You sound like you’re just making things up, assuming no one will know better or call you out on your lies.

White tail deer don’t migrate at ANY time of the year

Actually I’m indigenous, too. My ancestors were here during the Younger Dryas.

Agree. Live nearby in Glenmont and the snowcrete in our yard is covered with deer poop, both front and back. Saw a herd about 9 strong last night. Hunters need to come out here!
