| The first 20 minutes of "2000 Meters to Andriivka" are probably the most stressful and tense 20 minutes to ever be put on film. It's on YouTube. Not exactly a relaxing documentary, but it's absolutely riveting. |
I don't think any other documentary can compare to Dear Zachary. But yeah, you have to emotionally prepare yourself. It's gut-wrenching. |
I was looking forward to this doc because the 99% Invisible episode was really good. Agree that this doc was disappointing and I turned it off. But listen to the 99% invisible podcast, that is really good. |

The documentaries “Sweet Bobby” and “Hey Beautiful” were absolutely riveting to me, particularly in the way they turned out.
No way did I ever predict those endings More recently and in different veins, I really liked the documentary on the Judds, and Laurel Canyon has always been one of my favorites. See also Echo in the Canyon. What a special time and place to have been around. |
| Into the Fire: Lost Daughter is the best documentary I’ve seen in a long time. The story has a major twist, and the biological mother is amazingly tenacious. |
