| No, it's actually good practice for college. The kids that never drank did way more ridiculous **** once they were freed from the parents' shackles than the kids who had some experience. But feel free to bury your head in the sand. |
Go finish your precalc homework. |
Whatever dude. I'm so sick of this BS that I agree is probably coming from teenagers. I never drank in HS and did not really do any ridiculous crap in college when I started drinking because I wasn't that type of teenager/young adult. It seems most logical the ridiculous crap people will do the ridiculous crap whenever they start drinking and when they start drinking has no bearing on the behavior. If anything, early drinkers will just escalate into more intense things (like hard drugs). That is what actual data shows happens, if anyone cares about that. |
| No wonder we have a huge drinking culture in this country. Some of the disgusting responses here shows how much everything in our culture revolves around alcohol. Folks, you know you can still enjoy life while sober right lmao? |
I was an international student in college and this is 100% true. We didn't have a drinking age where grew up and I was allowed to drink at home since I was 15 or 16. There were a few parties but nothing crazy. It was never taboo or forbidden so I never viewed it as a right of passage. Fast forward to college and most of the kids were balck out drunk every weekend but I had no interest in that. Not that I didn't occasionally have a few drinks but I had no interest in that kind of drinking. |
