They did before the pandemic but SSSAS is still not allowing other schools on their buses for now.

OP, not sure what grade your child is in but another school that offers transport from PG County is Edmund Burke in DC, which has a middle and high school (6-12). It stops in Suitland, then Capitol Hill before heading to campus.

St. John's College High School in DC, Good Counsel in MD, Bullis in Potomac, the Key School in MD, and many more privates have routes that stop in Bowie, MD.

These bus commutes sound killer! It must be an hour to Holton from Bowie, no?

Definitely look into SSSAS. Child attended SSSAS and made several PG friends. Great school.

GDS has a bus line that goes to Bowie. Not sure if it includes Ft Washington, but I think they base the stops on where the need is, making adjustments as required.

DeMatha Catholic High School

Sandy Spring Friends School

St. John’s College High School

St. Anselm’s (shuttle from Ft. Totten Metro)

With quite a few others by Metro stops
Gonzaga
Georgetown Day School
Burke
And more

The school websites usually have a transportation link and provide schedules / routes, if offered. Though the routes can change, the bus services are contracted out so seem to try to accommodate reasonable stops.

Not sure what grades you're looking for, but Norwood has a bus route in PG county.
