Propaganda only works if the government has total control of information outlets. At this point, they don't. Even magas can read or watch something other than fox, so they do get information from other sources.

They can, but they don’t. Only Fox and similar outlets give them that dopamine hit. Very little else gets through. They walk through life with all the world’s information in their pocket, and they are still uninformed.

You need to read up on what happened in the years leading up to the Holocaust. It was almost exactly what is happening now.
