| Even if the fields were cleared, at our first game time on Saturday morning the forecast is for 20 degrees with gusty winds and a windchill of 4 degrees. Would they play in those temperatures? |

Ugh. What a mess! While DDs club has teams going, her team is not.
I just drove past our local fields and they are still snow covered. Parking lots were clear though, so I guess they could play there. Good Luck! |

Yeah that is what I presumed. Assuming these local fields are where they are playing, then there is no way this is going to happen. IF you are talking about unrelated fields, then i guess that doesn’t really tell us much. For people talking about the weather, that wont stop anything. Teams are running tryouts this weekend let alone an event that has been planned for a long time. |

| I’m wondering if they wait until just before Saturday to cancel do they get to keep more of the money? If they cancel now maybe the clubs would expect a bigger refund? There is no way they will have games. I’m not sure the reason behind the delay in making the decision. They sent an email saying they are “monitoring the weather” and are will be making a decision based on player safety. Stage is set for cancellation |

Fields can’t be cleared. Only the warm weather is permitted by counties but the warm weather has not showed up yet. They may reschedule |

| I know this is the girls thread, but just go ahead and cancel the boys next weekend already. Let the kids know so they can make other plans such as working. Even in the 1 in 100 chance the fields melt, it’s going to be cold rain. |
