Are fields still covered in snow? Specifically Howison

All county owned fields are still covered in snow. Plowing damages the fields. They will not be playable until they melt naturally.

Yeah I dont see any scenario in which the showcase happens unfortunately. At this point, let's pray the March tourneys happen.

Revolution plowed a couple of their high end turf fields and teams are training on them this week. Maybe they have specialized equipment but I doubt they would do it if it damaged the fields.

Rev owns their fields and can do whatever they want with them. County owns VDA fields and will not allow plowing.

Sure, there might be some snow on the fields, but they just put a fresh roll of toilet paper in the XL porta-potty at Howison! Game on!

Clearly you havent been to Howison lately. The upgrades are quite nice, including options other than porta-potty’s. Unless they get special permission from the county to clear the fields, which could be possible, then there is no way this is happening.

A lackluster list of colleges attending this year.

Last year VDA did clear their fields. I remember being annoyed because Fairfax doesn’t allow it. The VDA girls were practicing for 2 weeks before the teams in Fairfax were. Any VDA peeps going to practice this week?

MDU cancelled their showcase.
