No parent your kids. They were off campus. Do your dam job |
For what? Treaspassing? Sure as minors that will be a nothingburger |
Yes, let me guess it was one of your kids and you’d rather be on here than parent. You paid an attorney to get them off the hook and laugh with them about it. |
This has nothing to do with billionaires or trump. Parent your kids. |
So you think a house with a demo sign out front in Bethesda is abandoned? People just walked away, no bank has a mortgage and they just left it to rot? But put out a demo sign before leaving which is likely a permit. And losing the old hill ruined the drug scene at Whitman. That was an open air market back in the day. |
Even if it was abandoned, how was this ok? |
I’m among those whose kids showed me videos. It’s sad that kids this young have these addictions. One question I had: however unlikely this may be, if these kids didn’t do or sell drugs on campus, can they face disciplinary action from the school—aside from any school skipping they may have done? |
I cannot imagine the school can do anything but not allow make up assignments or tests. This isn’t a school issue, it’s a police and parent issue. It’s a pretty well known thing at some schools and it’s been going on many years. Kids with money and limited supervision. |
That was my take, but the lawyer in my family disagreed. Regardless, I hope it’s a wake up call for the kids and families. |
What is their opinion? It has nothing to do either with school ad they were off campus. Let’s be real, it it were other kids they’d be arrested. |
Some neighbor must have called the police |
| Is it true that no drugs were found? Was it just teenagers being teenagers then? And yesterday was the last day of the quarter. No serious work was going on in classes anyway. And no, I am not a Whitman parent. We live in SS. |
