It is like sex work. It can be done ethically and with full knowledge / consent and not an exploitation of power and priviledge but most often that isn't the case.

It can never be done ethically because the baby cannot consent to the harms done to them.

I’m not the PP you are responding to, but I think commercial surrogacy is similar to what is portrayed in the Handmaid’s Tale. I cannot believe it is permitted. It’s ethically and morally deeply wrong.

I got a sick and horrible feeling when I read this news.

You can't buy a heart or a liver, you shouldn't be able to pay a woman to gestate a baby.

Everyone should be very worried about this "trend"
