You can use all of your new spare time to network, do training or a passion project, or just enjoy your life outside of work. Things that will help you advance your career more than a title (which you already have on your resume). |
+1, lol. Being a first line manager can be rough, OP. I would totally do it for $1 million (a salary unthinkable in my field) but I would go into it assuming these people may be difficult or the goals may be hard to reach for reasons out of your control. Make sure you understand expectations for the role. |
