IB Math Apps or IB Math Analysis

Standard is to take Analysis year 1 and then Analysis HL year 2 and several schools in FCPS do AP class in between (whether pre calc/calc or stats), but will FCPs let students do Analysis year 1, then Analysis SL (instead of AP class) and then finish with Analysis HL?

No. That's the same class, twice, essentially. It would be the equivalent of asking to take geometry and then geometry honors the next year. 3/4 of the class is the same material, they write the same paper, etc.

No, they are completely separate approaches. Analysis is pure math, theoretical, math, etc. Applications is contextual work problems. You could probably do analysis year one and get through applications year two, since about 70% of the content overlaps, but the way the material is studied is fundamentally different. (at least at my school.)

You can do Apps in 10th and switch to analysis in 11th

Year 1 to year 1, yes. Year 1 apps to year 2 analysis, no (at least, nowhere I’ve taught)

That was my comment. Yes apps 1. Then analysis 1 (followed by 2).
