+1 and also Vassar

When I was at Wes there was a band Dr Mezzi Fights Infection. I think lead was pre-med.

Broadly speaking, I would love to see/hear a concert in Northwestern University's new Ryan Stadium in Evanston (where the undergraduate campus is located). Opens in Fall, 2026. Seats 35,000. Not a bad seat in the house. NU received permission to host 6 concerts per year in this venue.

Otherwise, lots of music activity in small venues on campus as well as in adjacent city of Chicago.

Easy access to Chicago.

University of Colorado at Boulder. Red Rocks Amphitheater is within a reasonable drive. Incredible venue !

Any school in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Chastain Park Amphitheater is a wonderful place to see & hear a concert.

Hudson Valley is where a lot of the NYC hipster scene decamped to during Covid, and it's lined with colleges like Vassar, Bard, SUNY New Paltz and Skidmore that have good music scenes. Beautiful area.

UVA 100%. Almost every fraternity has a house band. Band parties are very common.

That was back in the 80's and 90's. That was the golden era with Prince, The Replacements, Soul Asylum, Semisonic etc.
