OP here. Thanks for all the replies. And to the PP who was eagerly awaiting the 20 pound mark, I certainly didn't mean to seem insensitive or obtuse with this post. Hopefully some of the other responses gave you peace of mind as well.
It just seems that people ask me often how much my daughter's weight is increasing, and it simply hasn't for about four months. And she fell off her weight arc (height also), which worried us. But she had caught up for height, and runs around constantly. She started walking at 10 months, so the ped says that her caloric intake probably wasn't enough to keep up with her exertion. She still is a horrible eater. Won't even eat cookies. Mom eats her left-overs, which is an entirely different post and concern. ![]() |
My son was 26lbs at age 2. He is just smaller than the other boys (and girls ![]() |
My DD will be 5 in a few months and weighs 28 lbs. She actually has a genetic disorder that causes growth delays. |
My son is 2.5 yo, and he's around that much. My daughter at that age weighed even less.
They're both very healthy and active! So, OP, don't worry. You'll probably have lean kids. What more could anyone ask for?? |
My DC is 25lbs at 12 months. Sooooooo heavy. |
OP, my DD is almost 2, and she has only gained one pound in the last 7 months. I'm concerned about it, but nobody else (like the doctor) seems to be! It just seems weird that she is. not. gaining. weight, although she is getting a little bit taller. She was such a fatty when she was a baby! |
DS is 29 lb. at 3 1/2! DD is 20 lb. at 10 months. Someday soon she will be bigger than him! |
