anyone else have a 25 pound two year old?

| my kid is really small. totally healthy, but freaking me out. She has grown an inch taller, but been the same weight for MONTHS. Anyone else? |

| I have a 27lb 2 and 2month old. I don't think she's really small and the doctors have told me she's fine. I know two lb's make a big difference though. Has your doc voiced anything? As long as they trend as usual on their growth curve then there shouldn't be any worries. |

| PP here again...my child grew 5 inches and only gained two lbs between 18 and 24 months. No worries. |

| ours actually lost two pounds but grew a couple of inches, she's 2 and 3 months. The way she eats we are not surprised. She has a lot of energy so I'm not too concerned. |

| Our is 2 and a quarter and weighs 27 pounds. Doctor said she is in the 50th percentile for height and weight. She's a great eater, and we are not large people so I'm not worried. My brother and I were always in the 3rd percentile according to my mom! |

my 3yo is 26 lbs and her doctor is not concerned at all. She is still wearing 2T clothes, eats a ton and is very active. So I wouldn't be too worried if she seems healthy, is eating, etc. Some kids are just small

| my 3 y.o. DS weighs 24.4 pounds (just had a weigh in) and is 35.5 inches. he just about can fit into 2T pants, as long as there is an elasatic waist inside (some pants still look ridiculous, though). he's been through all kinds of testing and there is just nothing wrong with him. he's even a good eater (just doesn't eat in quantity, but he's not picky). are you small? is your husband? genetics plays the biggest role, i think. try not to worry. |

| My child hardly grew at all in height or weight between ages 2 and 3. The doctor diagnosed her with Celiac Disease after some tests at the 3 yo checkup. |

DD is 26 lbs and 34 inches at 2 years, 8 months.
She's completely healthy -- hitting all the developmental milestones and then some. Just small like most in our family. |

My DS will be 2 next month and he weighs in at 23lbs ...sometimes 22.5.
He is just a tiny guy but totally healthy and happy...and he eats a lot! My DH is 5'4 and I am 5"1 so we anticipate having tiny children. |

| My son is 38 inches tall and 28.5 lbs and he is 3 1/4 years old. He wore 18 month shorts this summer but we had to switch to 2T for fall pants, since 18 months are too short for his legs. I think at 2 he as about 25 lbs and taller than average. |
