How would you handle this? Neighbor’s package?

All you have to say is “tell her to give me sufficient notice or I might not be home! Let me know if you’d rather I leave it back on your step!” This is not hard and some of these responses are insane

this is hilarious. They’ll never ask you for anything ever again.

Send them your phone.number to give to her. Have her text so you can coordinate a pick up time. This is not rocket surgery.

Wow.

Exactly… People can’t think for themselves or outside the box. “Alexa, How do I,…” “Siri, What do I do…”

Wow.

Seriously. I sometimes wonder how the people on DCUM get through their days.

I wouldn’t stress too much over it……

I wouldn’t invest any time or stress about the daughter coming to pick up the package.
They should just be grateful that they have a helpful ➕ considerate neighbor to hold their package for safe-keeping.

Wow this is very rude.

Maybe your New Year’s resolution should be kindness.
And empathy too.

Has nothing to do with kindness or empathy. It’s honesty.

This is the answer. You need to be texting with the daughter.

Daughter's number is probably a need-to-know basis.

If they need the package, you need to know.
