| Sit it under a neighbor's car. Give the description of the vehicle and license plate to the neighbor. Ask them to leave a note under either windshield wiper when it is picked up. |
|
I would leave it hidden in a bush when you leave for work in the morning. Email the people and tell them where it is. And/or tell them to give the daughter your # so she can text to arrange a time.
If they asked you to watch for packages, this is totally on them. If they didn't ask you to watch for packages and you took it on yourself, then definitely go with the bush approach. |
|
2 options -
1 - if they did not ask you to grab the package - and you just did it because you thought you were helping them out you can email back and say ..... sorry for getting in the mix when you had a plan. I put it back on your front steps and she can pick it up there at her convivence. 2 - email and change the subject line to URGENT - RESPONSE NEEDED FOR PAKCAGE and ask for the daughters phone # to coordinate |
| Give them your cell and tell them to have her text as you may not be home. |
| Email back and ask if they want it left back at their house or does the daughter want to contact us to find a good time |
Needs exclamation points if you want to ensure proper attention is paid in full. |
| Insane you have to crowdsource this. |
| I would at least try. I would email them back right away and ask for contact information for the daughter. If they respond, I'd coordinate with her. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it, if I'm home when she comes, if not, well, I tried. |
| That's a little rude of your neighbor. I'd email him for his kid's contact info, even knowing he's slow to reply. |
| Send it to them overnight. Done. |
| You started this. |
Oh, gotcha. Yes, they asked me to collect anything left on their porch, shovel in the event we get snow, etc. |
| Might require a little extra effort, but you could dig a hole just deep enough for the package to fit in, cover it back up, and them sprinkle some leaves, etc. on the top, and then let them know where it's buried or mark it with something. |
The neighbors do not reply to emails that quickly. That’s why hiding the package and emailing them where won’t work either. Just leave the package outside your house. If you want, place in a brown or trash bag with the daughters name (or neighbors last name). |
LOL. Shovel snow? They don’t ask for much, do they? |
