He was supposed to have more surgeries. This was way more than bullying. This was an attack. |
Stop making up stuff and being selfish. Just cut them as they only serve a few hundred kids and that money is better spread to give more students advanced classes. |
Let’s just cut football too since it also only serves a few hundred kids. |
Sounds good. |
This attitude is what kills MCPS/MoCo over time. See where we are today... |
| I also love counting things from previous years as "this year" and not even trying to make a comparison to previous years. |
Or Howard County, MD, or Fairfax County, VA... |
It was backlash from bullying. |
Just stop it. The boy could have died. That is not backlash. |
You don’t know what happened leading up to this incident. It’s horrible and unacceptable what happened to this particular student but this highlights another huge issue with MCPS - no real consequences for bullying or violent behavior. |
| 2025 was still much better than 2020. Maybe even better than 2021. Smith really did a number on MCPS. |
Did you say that about Columbine, too? |
+1. This whole thread is pointless. |
The boy accidentally hit the girl with ball while he was playing a game. There was no information anywhere that this was any kind of backlash from bullying. where are you getting this his from? |
Backlash, that was a violent attack. If that girl was in school with mine, I’d pull them. |
