Don’t forget their revolutionary recruiting strategy. Promise girls they’ll get to train with the boys. Truly groundbreaking stuff. |
LOL. Poor thing. If you have been in these tryouts you wouldn’t have commented like this. Fact is barely one SYC player was at Arlington tryouts. |
Stop reporting players to their coaches. The toxicity and immaturity of such parents is on another level. Your kid should be ashamed of your immature behavior. Going to tryouts and watching your own kid is one thing but going to tryouts to watch other players and go report them to their coach is something unheard of. What are you gaining out of this childish behavior? |

EM is losing an important age group at 2013
Change losing to lost.
What does this mean? |
Right, they were at Howison…. |
Lol-nobody leaving SYC for VDA. |
2011s are in 5th place. 2010s are in 4th place. |
| I don’t have a dog in the fight, but it seems like VDA is using this forum to recruit and to speak negatively about other clubs. A club with access to the player pools of large organizations like PWSI, VSA, and Prince William County shouldn’t be bragging about recruiting players from elsewhere. If development is truly the focus, their players should largely come from Prince William County itself. |
That's not how it works though, but your idea is good. |
Got it. There was a single reference to syc girls being “at howison” and YOU want to make this about about “VDA is using this forum to recruit and to speak negatively about other clubs?” |
SYC staffer or Dad brought up SYC. Nobody actually cares about Syc past under 12. This forum is mostly parents of younger female players. That’s why it all calms down in the high school age groups on here. Every now and then there’s something being discussed, but it’s mostly just younger player parents arguing with each other about who can kick the ball the furthest. |
Except that it's already happened for next year with one of their best players |
What? No one reported any "player to their coaches."
|
Except for the players that want to get a better opportunity to play in college. In the future, maybe that will change, but in the current landscape, that is the number 1 reason why families are going to VDA. |
How long was that player with SYC? One cycle (or half a cycle since the second half of season just began)? |
