Patricia is ok, but don't like the nicknames for it.

I second this suggestion.

What’s your mother’s middle name?

I love this name—it’s my best friend’s name. Not MAGA; she’s Jewish. Regal, classic, and not over used. Go for it!

Tricia is a great nn. I also am good friends w/ a Trish. I don't love patsy at all.

Use Patty as the nickname. It's cute and so old it's new again.

Patsy, big no because of Mrs. Ramsey. Trish/Tricia, no. Old in a bad way.

I love, love, love Patsy. I guess I’m in the minority.

I hate it

I like it, would love to see someone bring it back. Patty, Patsy and Trixie are all super cute nicknames. Patsy Ramsay is a point of reference for gen x and older, no one younger will think of that.

Given the fact that the younger generations (mainly girls and women) seem to be more interested in “true crime”, I’m not so sure about that. It also keeps popping back up in the news, and documentaries keep being made about it. I was watching my local news channel a few weeks ago when a special about the case came on featuring John Ramsey. I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon.

My (young) nieces and nephews are all aware of who she is. A Netflix docuseries about JonBenét came out not too long ago. That's all it takes to catch the attention of younger people.

I don't like how it is pronounced in English and I really dislike the nicknames. I do like the Spanish and Italian pronunciations but that would be an uphill battle here.
