No. In my community, both men and women typically go to college. And women are as likely to go to STEM fields as men (at least in 2nd gen).

What do you mean "no"? Facts are facts. More women than men are going to college. More women than men are graduating from college. Your anecdote does not negate facts.

In the higher SES commnunities, both women and men go to college. It's the lower-middle / lower SES communities where more women go to college.

Not really, please do even a cursory google search. More women than men are going to and graduating from college across all income groups and regions. Even high ses.

95% to 98% of children from the top 5% income families go to college. It's not mathematically possible for there to be a substantial gap between men and women.

There certainly is. Because more of those are women, and more of the graduates are women. It's like you're blind to facts.

It appears that women are bad at math...

Because we tell women to go to college and men to become roofers. Most women major in useless subjects and come out with massive student loans debt. I was a math major. I can count the number of women in my graduating class. My friend majored in Aerospace and same story as well.

Nope.

Median Bachelors debt is ~$40K

Breakdown of Majors for Men

Business: 24%
Computer Science: 10%
Engineering: 13%
Health: 5%

Breakdown of Majors for Women

Health and Medical Sciences: 19%
Behavioral/Social Sciences (mostly psychology): 16%
Business: 15%
Biology: 7%

You made his point. Women are severely underrepresented in math, physics and engineering.

How are you trying to make this valid when almost 50% of boths majors are missing?

Women by in large do not choose these fields, They are not "underrepresented"

Let's not spread such a degrading term, OP.

And no, I do not agree with the concept behind it either. The misogynist manosphere wants to return to an era when women were submissive possessions and legally and financially dependent on their menfolk. Of course for these people, the modern era will feel emasculating. And yet women in the workforce and women earners increase the nation's productivity and contribute materially to the economy, such that these men's general quality of life is improved. Of course they notice it's partly due to women's freedoms... but they were never the smartest people.

With AI, math, comp science, and related majors will become less and less useful.
