Is pledging and will do rush in January and really likes the guys. Excellent professors. Says he found the best fit for him. He is a kid who takes academics really seriously but wants a social life, just not a crazy party life. Northwestern has been a great fit because if you go out twice a week you are “social”.

Talk to him again towards the end of winter.

DP. It has already snowed A LOT for even Chicago before winter starts/this semester.

My first year is loving Harvard. Almost went to MIT across town, but loves not having to grind as hard at Harvard.

My daughter really likes Amherst so far and her boyfriend loves Yale. He is not very social by nature and he’s having a lot of fun. It’s been great to see.

Not Deans List is not announced yet but you can calculate based on grades. Here is the criteria. PS - this is Engineering school.

Students in the fall or winter term need a minimum of 12 graded credits (pass/fail credits do not count) and a 3.5 GPA or better to earn the distinction of Dean’s Honor List for a term.

Are parents of students at a liberal arts college not allowed to answer a question?

and what's wrong with that? why are you so hostile any time anyone has a positive experience at an LAC? What did the LACs do to you?
