Gift for son’s new girlfriend?

I would do an expensive candle like Diptyque and that's it. One nice thing is better than a basket of random stuff.

Gloves would be nice, but you never know a person's style...my in-laws used to always get me gloves, but TBH I rarely wear gloves. Like it has to be below freezing for me to even consider it.

Agree with the thinking but no candles. Many people hate them.

I was initially thinking about these, and may still get them as they're a reasonable price:

But after some consideration, I might just get her a nice ornament instead, along with the stocking ideas.

Wow those are very cute! Does she live in a cold weather place?

I’d stick with the gloves, much more likely to be used and appreciated.

For all those saying gloves - do you know the hand size?? Xs s medium?? I would not want gloves. Maybe a cashmere scarf and gift card to Sephora.

I’m an xs. I’d be annoyed to get a medium pair of gloves that leave half an inch at the finger tips.

You seem extremely high maintenance. I'd be thrilled to receive a pair of cashmere gloves.

A small basket of things from your home town if she is traveling? Like from the local chocolate shop, stuff from farmers market, Starbucks themed mug with gift card, ornament?

Don't you fret. These are one size fits all.

Knitted gloves are stretchy, size won't matter too much. Its leather gloves that need to be sized properly. My mother had extremely long fingers but slender hands and could only wear really well made Italian leather gloves.

Thanks! I’m going to order these. Maybe I’ll get a scarf as well. Also love the stocking ideas. You saved me!
