Explain to me why Trump supporters directly hurt by his policies still support him - WVA edition

Higher grocery prices is starting to work, but I think the pain will have to become far more acute before they start using their brains.

So the logic is that there was so much anger and hurt in this country just simmering among a lot if the folks ultimately MAGA - they continue to stand by Trump not because he does no wrong but because they hinged all their hopes on him and are totally invested. They don't want to see what they don't want to see in a manner of speaking. People are wired to see their investments through ie gambling and addiction.

Not really waiting to happen. They've been "exploding" on us all in various ways for a long time, especially since Obama was elected. Trump is them trying to punish us all for challenging the status quo they found more comfortable.

I mean, these are the people that lose their shit over someone telling them happy holidays in an attempt to accommodate other religious practices, and MAGA literally takes offense at that. They seemingly don't have the capacity to cope with change or any amount of inconvenience, especially if they are being inconvenienced by people they believe themselves to be above.

Additionally, if you actually think Biden’s policies would have “revived dead communities,” you need your head checked.

Ingrained poverty and social issues don’t have simple solutions, whether in rural WV or DC, so it was never really a choice between a somehow revived West Virginia and the status quo.

PP, you are not posting on a forum of uneducated FOX viewers who accept your lies as truth. First, WV does not bounce between parties in presidential elections. WV has not voted Democrat since 1996, and that was barely. Second, those Biden jobs would have definitely revived a dead community and provided decent, well-paying jobs. Just because someone is born in poverty does not mean given the opportunity, they cannot climb out of poverty. People like you just wash your hands of them. Biden was hoping to give them a hand up.

-training for "green" jobs in west virginia
-mitigating the impact of floods in west virginia

I take it you did not read the article. The person in the article was very excited about the infrastructure funding from Biden. They felt it could revive their community.

Trump has pulled that dream. Not understanding how they could still support him. Who are they exactly blaming for the funding being taken away?
