There will never be a Republican health care plan that brings some sanity to our ridiculous system. The GOP is owned by the health insurance companies.
I also wouldn't put a lot of faith in Republican women in office. They have known exactly what the modern GOP is about since 2016. Grab them by the pu33y. Overturning Roe V Wade. Epstein. Rape charges and settlements - not just Trump, but Hegseth and other prominent Republicans. Calling women dogs and piggies. And on and on. Republican women have been just fine with everything for about ten years now. But everyone reads the polls, and everyone knows Trump is a sinking ship. The women in the Republican Party are typical politicians - cold people making cold calculations. |
THIS 100 % |
Hopefully men like them will become extinct. Today’s parents need to endure they’re not raising boys who will grow up to be douchebags like Trump and Johnson. |
They raised garbage. They were terrible people themselves to let their kid get away with being a such little shit. As a result he grew up to be a big shit. A very, very, big POS. |
Uh… I have some bad news for you. |
+1 They are just a little ballsier and savvier is all. |
Mary Trump (clinical psychologist & PhD) excerpts: Too Much and Never Enough: “A critical shift came one night when Donald was 2 1/2. His mother nearly died from post-partum complications, was hospitalized for months and never completely recovered. Finally back home, she was … weird — an insomniac wandering around the House at all hours like a soundless wraith… In the morning her children sometimes found her unconscious in unexpected places. Unstable and needy, she used her children to comfort herself rather than comforting them. And so, as a result of his mother’s de facto abandonment and his father’s disengaged failure to make him feel safe or loved [or] valued, Donald developed powerful but primitive defenses — a willful callousness and an increasing hostility to others … narcissism, bullying, grandiosity.” “Donald’s pathologies are so complex that arm’s-length diagnoses fail by not going far enough.” “I have no problem calling Donald a narcissist — he meets all nine criteria in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders including antisocial personality disorder, dependent personality disorder, and an undiagnosed learning disability that has interfered with his ability to process information.” |
Take heart. My 12 y.o. white son treats his sister and mother with respect. He isn't repeating the garbage Trump and the man-o-sphere culture are spewing about women and P.O.C. He voluntarily helps around the house and donates his allowance to St. Jude's and the American Cancer Society. I know--he's 12 and not 25 but, so far, so good. |
No. I used to think this way. The only hope is to raise daughters just as "spoiled" as the boys and used to living in squalor while being taken very seriously. |
This entire narrative of “Republican revolt” is a grift- MTG is the only person who has retired abruptly and actually done something. Call me when something actually happens. |
| OMG, I was thinking the same thing and that tweet/response was perfect. |
