Would you also use a neighbors hair brush? Their underwear?

I know, someone asked to borrow our food processor once. Like, what?! You want my diva cup too?

Wait don’t you have cleaners who come with own mops and professional vacuums?

It's Thanksgiving holiday in the US today. But yes many people do that, and it's nasty.
Whenever I have hired cleaners, they use my own equipment. Sharing filth with publically used cleaning utensils is just unhygenic.

You people are beyond crazy.

I would be grossed out if you asked to borrow my vacuum. I don’t want your assorted hair in my vacuum. I also don’t want to risk something like a bedbug or fleas gets sucked up and then taken to my house.

Seriously right? Who even thinks about borrowing someones vacuum. Beyond bizarre.

With the three hours you had until the guest arrived, I would have run to Walmart and bought a new cheap one rather than borrow from a neighbor.

Nope

Yes would lend without a second thought.

I'm glad I have good neighbors. If I put it in the group chat, I'd have many vacuums offered to me. Asking for help is how you build community.

Wouldn’t bother me at all. Some of you people have issues.

What if your neighbor uses your vacuum to clean up cocaine spills and your house is raided by the DEA the next day? Do you really think they are going to accept some wild story about vacuum lending?

Everyone has different levels of hygeine. I wouldn't put on a homeless person's clothes for a million dollars. All the possible diseases and infestations are not worth it.
