Yes I'm sure all of your FB friends are on the edge of their seats waiting to see what funny license plate you will post next. |

I honestly also think it's about who the majority of your friends' friends are. A few examples --
-- If most of my FB friends are relatives and other mommy friends who are interested in the daily activities of my DD, then many of my posts might be about the cute thing she did, or her sleep or poop or whathaveyou, and I'm not really thinking about those random FB friends who might not care about those things. -- I happen to compete in a particular sport, and a number of my friends are also involved in that sport. Many of my posts therefore might be about the particular workout I did that day. Granted, many of my non-sport friends probably don't care -- but that particular post isn't geared towards them. I certainly don't accept every friend request, including from my own mom. That way, what I share isn't available to every elementary school classmate that I haven't seen in 30yrs, or ex-boyfriends or whatever. Not sure what your solution is other than to block those individuals from your news feed. I personally don't use it to share super personal information, but as another PP mentioned, life is crazy busy. This is a fun, quick way to get a teeny bit of insight into the lives of those I care about. And, if something that I might not have otherwise heard about merits a personal phone call or email, then we do connect directly. |
I'm not from this country, most of my friends also are not from here so personalized LP are cool for us. I guess you're just jealous because you have nothing exciting to post anyway. |

OP, buy yourself a nice car so you won't be so offended when others nice cars are in the shop and they post on FB about it.
Hell, get laid, you can post about that! |
Or to find out what car or pedestrian you will hit while you're taking photos with your phone while driving. |
