Which national anthem? There's the black national anthem (Lift Every Voice and Sing) and the redneck national anthem (God Bless the USA), just to name two. |
| Mine can play it on her clarinet. Squeaky, but it is clear which tube it is. |
| It’s a crap song anyways. America the Beautiful should have been our anthem and then people may have cared. This stupid war anthem is lame. BTW the USA lost the war of 1812 so basing the anthem on that unfortunate event is pretty dumb. |
There is only one national anthem. |
That’s really nice. |
And it’s sad that that person is clueless. |
You seem to be the clueless ones. It is highly likely that the ponies fully aware that the star spangled banner is the official anthem. They seemed to be calling attention to the idea that there are other songs that are considered anthems as well. |

Yes, of course my kids know the national anthem.
It’s played at every swim meet. It’s played before Nats games and high school football we’ve attended. Both kids have had to sing it (and/or play it in band) for school concerts, etc. My kids have been to Fort McHenry and have also seen the Star-Spangled Banner at the NMAH. But I also knew it as a kid, with far less exposure than that. I think it’d be hard to grow up in the US in a populated area and/or with a TV and NEVER hear it. |
| Do they send their children to private school? |
| We go to a lot of sports games, LOL! |
People move, dumdum. |
Don’t be an idiot; you know exactly what OP is asking. And there is only one national anthem. Yes, OP, my kids learned it in music class. |
1) The word is “anyway,” not anyways. 2) People do “care.” |
