Lack of media coverage of the Palestinian view point. True or not true?

This doc was recently released- Put Your Soul in your hand and walk. But I haveht seen it receive any coverage. It’s on Apple TV I think. It is made up of FaceTime calls between the filmmaker and a Palestinian woman in Gaza. The filmmaker was not allowed to meet her, so it’s all over the phone. The subject was killed in April with 9 members of her family.

Has anyone seen it?

So this "us vs. them" perspective that you present is an acknowledgement that Palestinians are at war against Israel? Ok then, the war will go on until one side surrenders. Americans do not have to pick a side, and if Americans pick a side, it doesn't have to be the side you want them to pick.

Does that apply to you, as well? Can America pick a side that you don’t want us to pick?

A large part is because Israel has blocked journalists from covering the war. This in itself should raise a huge red flag.

Yes. This book sums it up beautifully and tragically: https://www.amazon.com/Everyone-Will-Have-Always-Against/dp/0593804147

I don't think it's true, but on the other hand I make a point of paying attention to the media sources that cover this.

Hamas vote was in, what, 2006? In a place where the median age is 18? More than half the people in Gaza hadn't been born or were far too young to have voted back then. On the other hand, they have grown up in a world where Israel has imprisoned (often without charges) and tortured and killed Palestinians on a regular basis and allowed killings and pillage by settlers. Not excusing what happened, but there is a way to look at this that is reminiscent of the Sioux War in 1862.

I don’t know.. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Ana Kasparian, Zohran Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, don’t seem like a bad group to have in your corner. Arguably the most influential political influencers in the country right now I’d say.

I think Israel is losing influence and popularity in the United States and it’s not just about Gaza, but Id argue moreso Iran. Nobody in America in either party wants a war in Iran despite Netanyahu attempts to strongarm us

Neither is Israel. Liberty isn’t being ruled by the same prime minister on and off since 1996

Has anyone seen it? It looks heartbreaking

It's a democracy, with free and open elections. The people voted in the leader they wanted. So did the Palestinians, one time before any pretense of democracy disappeared.

I seriously cannot fathom why people wonder why there’s a rise in antisemitism when you have people like this poster - and so many others I’ve seen on here- saying things like this… just totally heartless and selfish. And of course all on the US’s dime will Americans are struggling.

DP

FOH with the “rise in anti-semitism” malarkey. Telling members of a group who support vile policies and actions that they are POS trash is nothing more than that - calling them out.

Stop feeding into their campaign to re-focus everything back onto their displeasure that others are calling them out for their beliefs and their actions.

This is 100% correct.

It's "heartless" and "selfish" to point out that one country is a democracy and that a different group of people live under a self-imposed brutal authoritarian form of criminal government dedicated to terrorism? You employ a peculiar dictionary.

Facts are facts. Israelis vote periodically for politicians to implement policies the people want. So too did the Palestinians once, except the Palestinians discovered, apparently to their surprise, that the government they voted in now declines to be voted out, no matter how useless it has proven in improving the condition of the people who elected it.
