Lack of media coverage of the Palestinian view point. True or not true?

Anonymous
I feel like I see a lot on October 7th and how Israelis felt and feel. But very little from the Palestinian perspective. I don’t mean fierce political debates, more how life was impacted.

This doc was recently released- Put Your Soul in your hand and walk. But I haveht seen it receive any coverage. It’s on Apple TV I think. It is made up of FaceTime calls between the filmmaker and a Palestinian woman in Gaza. The filmmaker was not allowed to meet her, so it’s all over the phone. The subject was killed in April with 9 members of her family.

Has anyone seen it?

Not true. But also rightly of of little interest to most people in the U.S.

Most young people don’t get their news from cable news networks but from social media and the Internet. That’s why younger people have a pro Palestinian view than boomers

I agree OP.

The powerful pro-Israel lobbies in this country work hard to keep it that way. But unfortunately for them, social media has evened out the playing field.

Why is it of no interest?

Are you stating it is your belief that there is NOT a relative lack of Palestinian perspective or viewpoint?

The BBC regularly covers this side, but for a long while, no media could get in. At all. There was a few doctors and stranded journalists who would risk their lives to send in reports, sometimes walking for miles to do so. Even drones were not allowed. Once drones were allowed, they could see the destruction.
BBC now seems to have a daily radio report with various people in Gaza. To be honest, I hear much less from Israel.

BBC is not US but I see your point. They do amazing work. I hope they will continue after their latest dust up and capitulation

Well duh, American media and most of the ruling class sees that as "anti-Semitic". And the public is deeply anti-Muslim. So...there you go. Palestinians are always on the losing side.

BBC broadcasts live on npr literally every day.
They will continue to to good work. The videos in question never aired here in the USA, so they don’t meet the criteria for his claim of “defamation”. Anyway, it was 5 years ago. He’s just doing this because he is terrified they will tell the truth about his connections to Epstein.
