Why didn't they make this same offer to Farmland students?

Farmland doesn't have near the number of portables and temporary modular structures that Ashburton has. Didn't they have an actual renovation in 2011? Not just temp modulars tacked on..

Farmland doesn't have near the number of portables and temporary modular structures that Ashburton has. Didn't they have an actual renovation in 2011? Not just temp modulars tacked on..

Ashburton had students sitting on trash cans several years ago because it had run out of chairs due to overcrowding. Bethesda Magazine did an article on it. Sorry to hear it continues.

BCC is a decent HS. It has many more low-income kids and more brown people than Whitman to be sure (which we saw as a plus to not live in a privileged kid bubble), and it's outcomes are still strong (as someone mentioned upthread, BCC had more NMSF this year than Whitman, despite being a much smaller high school).

It's because the CIP is considering the temporary modular units at Ashburton as permanent additions to the school

Westbrook has a great neighborhood feel and parent community, and they finally got rid of the incompetent and toxic principle.
