It’s outside of your area but Cold Spring in Potomac. The school is always highly ranked but it’s a very small school and the neighborhoods that feed in are friendly (Fox Hills West and Copenhaver).

Copenhaver is fantastic. The park in that community is amazing. I always wanted to buy a house that backed to the park when the kids were younger.

Families who want their kids to do algebra in Kindergarten? Is that this school?

I would Rec looking past Elementary as well, Westbrook and Somerset are lovely if you like Westland and BCC. Woodacres or bannockburn elementary are lovely too if you like Pyle or Whitman

Be aware though that Cold Spring is an open school meaning that there are no walls between classrooms. It may be a difficult environment for some kids, especially those who get distracted easily.

Wyngate. If you live on the Wyngate side of Old Georgetown, you also have the middle school (North Bethesda) in the neighborhood.

Cold Spring is tentatively scheduled to move to a holding school from 2029-2031, while its building is being rebuilt.

Honest question, I’ve always heard that ashburton was the weakest and most over crowded of all the Bethesda Elementarys. Is that outdated

Academically I think it's on par with Wyngate (I've had a child at each) but Ashburton is definitely among the most overcrowded elementary schools in the area.
