| The jackets are a good way to let people convey to others that they went to certain colleges. This would eliminate the need for them to casually mention their alma mater within 2 minutes of meeting a person. |
|
I went to an Ivy and like their general style and have walked past the Manhattan store dozens of times but have never bought anything there.
Those specific jackets are hideous and tacky. I don't know anyone who would wear that. |
| Nope. Only Members Only. Duh. |
| Honestly, if I received one from a relative that was purchased in the 1950's I would think it was really cool and would treasure it as a historical item. But a a new one purchased today? No thanks. |
+1. I wouldn't wear these jackets even if I was a alumnus, but it's a great place to get a pair of Go to Hell pants. |
| Look much better on the SEC coeds than Ivy crowd. |
Nerdy snobs don't know what they're missing. |
LOL yep! |
tell me you haven't been on the Yale campus without telling me you haven't been on the Yale campus |
LOL Tell me you haven't been on U of Mississippi's or U of Alabama's campus... FWIW look at home states of most Miss Americas ...not New England!
|
More students at U of Mississippi or U of Alabama also work as strippers. |
|
My kid is at an Ivy and wouldn’t wear that. Coming from a HS with khakis/collared shirt/Sperrys dress code for 4 years- he rarely wears any of that. The Sperrys got trashed immediately. lol
He also is not a fan of the “bro look”— baseball cap, vest over collared shirt and colored shorts (predominant in southern Greek life, UVA, etc). My kids prefer a more urban look, or athletic wear. |
I always think those guys look like little boys.
|
Cuz nobody wants to look at a plain Jane New England stripper!

Southern schools have sid mashburn A brand that better reflects southern sensibilities in provenance J press is a bit too old for those schools |
