+1. Just some t shirts. That jacket is trying too hard. |
Based on the website there are 3 stores - Yale, Yale Club in NY, and 18th and L in DC. So you can get what you need locally! Didn't they a store in Georgetown in the 80s? I remember being in it at some point. |
| For Halloween, absolutely! |
is it still there? not sure how it stays in business if it is. I didnt know anyone who actually shopped there. - Yale grade |

Never stepped inside in my years at yale and never knew how ridiculous it even was until this post. Thought the vibe was more say you " go to school in Connecticut " without dropping the name |

| If they were astute they would introduce a Line for Bama, Auburn, UGa, Vandy, Ole Miss and of course the wealthy Dukies. |
| J Press is about as staid and old school as they come. My 85 year old FIL is a typical customer. |
| is this part of the Alex mill collection that just came out? I LOVE Alex mill even though they are overpriced (basically just crew from the 90s quality for 4* the price) |
Agree. Modern Ivy students wouldn't be caught dead in these clothes. But southern schools today - especially SEC schools - do like the old-timey preppy aesthetic and they do like to dress up for the "big game" and rep their schools. |

No.
I'm a Harvard alum, and I have a stable of linen dresses I buy online from an Eastern European lady on Etsy. I mainly wear these and Birkenstocks every day. My son never considered or applied to Harvard because they don't have a vet school. He went to the UK university his dad attended. And I don't think he even knows what a J Press jacket is. |
