Tea at Hillwood?
Live theater? |
| The library and mall scavenger hunts are just releasing a bunch of screaming girls into public spaces. Please don't do that. |

Graffiti art party
Might not be possible for winter because you can’t spray paint in certain temps, but looked really fun. https://www.thecounterbalance.org/articles/create-unique-street-art-with-graffiti-classes-in-washington-dc Beat Ya Feet Dance Class This is a style of hip hop to GoGo music. Very DC and looks so fun. https://www.byfacademy.org/ Screen printing class In 5th grade I had a screen printing party for about 20 girls. They made screen prints on paper and then made tote bags. Was a lot of fun. Sorry we weren’t DC area then, but someplace like this: https://pyramidatlanticartcenter.org/ Small group ideas: Theatre - musical - concert - sporting event tickets Slightly bigger group: Mall/ Bethesda / DC movie in theater and fast casual (Chipotle/ Cava type) meal Outdoor ice rink (sculpture garden one is pretty) Hot cocoa/ Starbucks and cupcakes What are your daughters likes/interests? Head count? |

Agree she is old enough to plan if she’s being picky.
Have you considered movie and dinner? Not novel, but usually appeals to everyone. |

| DD’s friends are still doing slime parties, baking, laser tag, ice skating, sleepovers/movie nights. Don’t overthink this. |
| My daughter did the shopping thing once and it was a huge hit. We gave each girl $25 and chose some shops in Georgetown. The rule was I did not give a penny extra but they could of course borrow from each other if they needed a little more. Bonus was that Sephora will hook them up with free samples if they ask. Super fun and lots cheaper per person that most of the other place mentioned. |
Do you have any idea how annoying you are? |

Cooking class
Scavenger hunt Georgetown. There’s an ice sculpture thing at national Harbor. My cousin did with her daughter and a few friends. Then they went to dinner and spent the night. What do you mean that a few people can’t make it to the create your own scent in Georgetown? |

Have you been to Dabble Lab in the new Westbard development in Bethesda? I’ve taken my kids there for open studio, and they have a big back room for events:

| Beat the bomb in Ivy City. At that age, kids don’t need someone to do the games with them. My DD 13 went to a party there recently and had a blast |
