| Wouldn’t want to ruin a boys life. Okay to ruin a girls life with a rape or a forced marriage or a child marriage or a baby but not a boys life. Okay to ruin a young black boys life. Okay to ruin a young immigrants life. It’s amazing how much forgiveness and dare I say it empathy they seem to have, but only for themselves. Reminds me of the judge who thought Brock Turner just needed a second chance or a do over or something. And can’t help thinking of that Nikki Giovanni quote about how “when they tell you who they are, believe them.” |

Many of them weren't "just kids"- they were full grown adults, and they aren't just random people, they are what is supposed to be the GOP's cream of the crop, the young and up-and-coming who the GOP has been grooming as their next generation of leaders. It's a disgrace, and shows the GOP to be rotten and racist to its core. |
