False 8 Futsal Tryouts

If they were only after your money, they would require all players to join their futsal program — but they don’t. There are plenty of parents on the other side whose kids don’t get into these environments or programs. Their futsal program is solid. I know people who applied to the ID night and didn’t even get in. Almost all of their sessions are booked, and it’s hard to get into these environments if you’re not already a “top” pre–MLS Next, GA, or ECNL player.

I bet your kid is on his social media twice a week.

Waving their arms and hands around furiously.

My DC plays on the top team at a major club. We had multiple kids tryout from our team. Nobody has received an offer yet.

Agree with pp, he will be lucky to get permits in Fairfax for unlit grass fields, with no rec org.

Its not about "connections". The County has strict guidelines when it comes to issuing space and all the turf is spoken for by the big youth clubs already. He might get some sad unlit muddy grass fields in Clifton or Great Falls.

Yes, this. There is no spare turf to be had for new clubs. If he wants to practice on unlit grass, he should be able to get a field somewhere off the beaten path.

If you look on the post he states he is not starting a club

No, he will definitely get field space. There are plenty around that are not being used right now.

So it seems! Lol. I'm only half upset, in fact, I'm not upset at all.

I think the parents on the current team are starting to complain about this, because some of the age groups already have more than 15 kids. Adding more players after training has already started doesn’t make sense. They’re worried their children will be pushed down, and it’s creating a lot of unnecessary FOMO among the parents.

Just got the F8 offer.

Anonymous wrote:DC did the False 8 futsal tryout over the weekend. Communication from Christian didn't provide much insight into actual availability on the various teams. Does anyone know if they tend to carry two teams per age group? If they do carry two, is it a 1st and 2nd team? Were these tryouts for full teams or additional players on existing teams?

Big Chunk of text screaming FOMO all around lol

And a rather large portion of your text reads undereducated troll. Go away. I'm here for substance not twitter fingers.

Keep chasing Ig clout for a guy who can’t even speak or write properly

You are an imbecile. I don't even have IG. I rarely suffer fools so this is my last comment for you. Go away.

There is literally no unused turf field space anywhere in Fairfax. It is scheduled 8am -10 pm.
If he doesn't mind playing at Kincheloe park, more power to him!
