| lol. They’re simultaneously posting a PUBLIC position for a supervisor in OGC. One step forward, two steps back. |
wait- sheriff nottingham at OUR agency?! my stars! RIP Alan Rickman, the best villain. |
| Why do they have to send out so many nasty missives about who and who cannot do VERA? |
You must be mgmt. regular staff haven’t received any missives, nasty or kind. I couldn’t write a credible “nasty missive” about Vera eligibility if I tried. What do they say? “You suck, you’re not eligible.!”?? |
They want to make sure you know your place and even though you're management you're still just a parasite to them. |
What do they say? I'm at a different agency, but I too am bothered by the tone and wording of emails sent to us from the top. |
| The notice is fine, we are wondering if many people will take it. I am Vera eligible but not going to go. |
| I thought doge was over. Are we still doing this crap? When do the 5 bullets start again? |
It's part of project 2025 and all of that is alive and well. |
Aren't they still in the building? At least the rooms are still papered. |
All the italics, bolds and underlines! |
They’re probably sick of people not reading directions and applying for Vera when not eligible, which wastes HR’s time. |
This actually flat wrong…. Some people did miss the DRP, which was offered in combination with a VERA and regretted it. Some wanted a clean VERA/VSIP because at the time, no one knew whether the DRP was legal. Then, later, the agency offered a clean VERA/VSIP which more people took. So it is a legit question to ask but we’ve also had RTO and if someone was on the fence about whether to stay or go, or RTO is just not working, I could see where they would take this. Or take the demotion and not have to worry about managing people. |
