They’re probably sick of people not reading directions and applying for Vera when not eligible, which wastes HR’s time.

This actually flat wrong…. Some people did miss the DRP, which was offered in combination with a VERA and regretted it. Some wanted a clean VERA/VSIP because at the time, no one knew whether the DRP was legal. Then, later, the agency offered a clean VERA/VSIP which more people took.

So it is a legit question to ask but we’ve also had RTO and if someone was on the fence about whether to stay or go, or RTO is just not working, I could see where they would take this. Or take the demotion and not have to worry about managing people.
